Hundreds of designer chairs at lower prices

(January 20, 2010)

The party season is upon us again and Contemporary Home International (www.contemporary-home.co.uk) has an extensive range of chairs that will help party hosts accommodate all their guests in a stylish and comfy fashion. The online retailer that specialises in selling European designer furniture has hundreds of design classics to choose from, and all cost between 10% and 40% lower than the usual UK retail price.

Director Gabriel Homer says: “As people get into the spirit of the festive season and start to arrange parties, they often find they don’t have enough seats for all their guests and end up asking them to bring their own.  We have a wide range of chairs that can help party planners overcome this problem.”

The perfect solution is the versatile Air Chair (top) from Magis, which is easy to store. It comes in a range of indoor and outdoor uses, is stackable and available in eight funky colours. This Jasper Morrison-designed chair adds colour and style to any setting.

For something more comfy, check out the Antonello Italia range, one of Contemporary Home's newest suppliers. It has some high impact contemporary chairs in the colour of the season, white.  The Diva chair (above far left), has a leather-covered frame and a single back piece that sensually curves to give support.  The Anita chair (middle) has a very distinctive single piece curved back and sculpted aluminium front legs.  The Clara chair (right) is covered in beautiful leather or hide on a tubular steel frame.

For something more dramatic and colourful for that party atmosphere, how about the Edra's Vermelha armchair (below left)? Designed by F and H Campana, this chair is characteristically eye-catching as well as comfortable in a bright red cotton string finish. Or maybe the Rose chair (below right)? Unmistakeably Japanese in design, Mansanori Umeda designed this beautiful armchair resonant of the natural shape and form of the much-loved rose.

Any time of the year, the Contemporary Home International website is a furniture connoisseur’s dream, featuring high-end products from more than 50 design-led brands, with a particular focus on Italian names such as B&B Italia, Ceccotti, Poliform, and Flexform. Furniture from iconic designers including Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is also available from Contemporary Home International.

The company has access to more than 100 brands through its network of suppliers in Europe, provides a specialist delivery service and can usually offer the furniture for significantly lower than usual UK retail prices.
