Spooky furniture from Contemporary Home International

(January 20, 2010)

Fancy injecting some style into your Halloween party? New online retailer Contemporary Home International (www.contemporary-home.co.uk) has some great ideas that will really help get you into the spirit of the occasion.

The Contemporary Home International website is a furniture connoisseur’s dream, featuring high-end products from more than 50 design-led brands, with a particular focus on Italian names such as B&B Italia, Ceccotti, Poliform, and Flexform. Furniture from iconic designers including Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is also available from Contemporary Home International.

The company has access to more than 100 brands through its network of suppliers in Europe and can offer most pieces on its website for significantly lower than usual UK and US retail prices.

Contemporary Home International director Gabriel Homer says: “We can offer the absolute best in European designer furniture because we have great relationships with our suppliers in Italy.

"Halloween is a great opportunity to have some fun and some of the furniture on our site will help you do that. Fiam Italia's Ghost Glass chair is an iconic piece made from one single piece of moulded glass. The Louis Ghost Armchair designed by Philippe Starck is available in a range of translucent colours including pale smoke grey and ice blue. The Francois Ghost mirror by Phillipe Starck for Kartell is available in five translucent colours.

"Get your hands on some of these pieces from us at Contemporary Home International and you can guarantee that your guests will be at the most stylish Halloween party in town," says Gabriel

Following an increase in orders from the US, Contemporary Home International has opened a new office to cater for the growing demand for its quality furniture.

To overcome the challenges presented by working in different time zones and ensure it continues to offer the same high standard of service to the US market that it has done to the UK, Contemporary Home International has set up an office in Brazil in the beautiful former colonial city of Salvador.

The office is headed up by Leif Haug, who is a highly experienced furniture consultant with more than eight years in the world of European furniture design under his belt. Haug manages a team of staff who deal with the growing number of orders and enquiries from US customers keen to inject a bit of European designer style into their houses.

“Orders have flooded in from all over the world," says Garbiel, "but the US market has shown a strong interest in the products on our website, which has fuelled our plans to expand to cater for the American market with an office in Brazil."

Prices are available on request for any of the pieces of furniture on Contemporary Home International's site.
